Joanie and Liam met in 2013 when Liam ventured out to San Jose, California and Joanie was attending Stanford University. Through mutual friends, they were introduced on brief occasions but it was not until a warm February day in 2015 when Liam was riding his bike through Stanford campus and in the distance saw Joanie walking in a different direction.
Liam swiftly changed direction to casually and "organically" run into Joanie. They had an instant connection (when Liam rode into Joanie). Shortly after this meet-cute, Joanie and Liam began to talk regularly and hang out often. In even less time, the two struck up a relationship in March of 2015. And by the summer, our couple had decided to move in together.
Through the years, Joanie and Liam would go on many adventures and slowly but surely acquire a small pack of Chihuahuas. The couple cruised through Mexico, road-tripped up and down the coast of California, went to music festivals, spent winters in Steamboat Springs, CO, and one day as luck would have it, moved to Singapore. As expats, Joanie and Liam were fortunate enough to travel all around Southeast Asia while making friends, petting elephants, napping on beaches, and trying strange exotic foods that were at times "surprises".
The years continued on. History became legend. Legend became myth. The fellowship grew strong and would spend their days on the odd adventure, tending to the garden, chasing chihuahuas, playing basketball, having impromptu movie marathons, and cuddling up with the chihuahuas. Many moons had passed as our couple approached a decennium. It was now that Joanie and Liam decided to tie the knot.
